My classes are a rich tapestry of wisdom and heart.

You will feel like I am “the real deal” because I have walked the walk. I have done deep personal work and I weave that intelligence into each class providing you both a physically challenging class (or a gentle one) and contemplation for your life. I give verbal feedback on alignment for the safety of your joints and encourage you to focus on your breath. When I say “classical yoga” I mean no frills yoga. No goats. No wine. No chocolate. No pilates. No boxing. No gimmicks. Just Yoga. Yoga is enough. My passion for this discipline will come through on the screen. And that fire will ignite something in you —-helping YOU to achieve your highest potential.

I will talk during class. My speaking is not to annoy you but to guide you safely into the pose, motivate you, focus you and help you make a connection between the poses and your life. I want you to contemplate how your yoga practice can inform your life, because your life informs your practice.

If you have any physical needs or injuries, please inform Indira before the class begins either via a chat message or share with Indira before class begins.

Download the Zoom software on your device ahead of time.

Position your camera to the LONG end of your yoga mat. Make sure I can see you when you are lying down or standing up.

Have your own yoga props nearby as needed for your body.

If you are experiencing issues when trying to join a Zoom meeting using your browser, installing the Zoom desktop client might help.

Yoga Mat

A block  (you can substitute a THICK HARD COVER book or a even a foam roller)

A strap (a belt, dog leash, even a rolled up beach towel would also work)

If you are brand new to yoga then please schedule a private session with me so you can familiarize yourself with the poses and then progress to the Level 1 classes.

Best to practice on an empty stomach. Generally 1.5 hours after a light meal or 3-4 hours after a heavy meal. If blood sugar levels are a concern, talk to me about possible alternatives. I start and end classes on time because that creates safety for the student – commonly called a “container.” I hold the space for you to do your work. Starting and ending on time is part of that. However, I give you the flexibility to come late and leave early if you must. That is seamless online.

As with anything in life, practicing Yoga has some risks. If you push too hard into a posture you risk injuring yourself. Practice at your own risk.

Sure do! Drop me a line on the contact form below and I’ll send you details.
